We were proud to sponsor the RAM Tubulars secondary schools 2.5K race at the 2025 Run Balmoral event. It was a really great turnout for the event with over 5000 entrants over the two days and there was a record breaker in our sponsored race. 

Nathan Lawson retained his title in the RAM Tubulars race and The Albyn student clocked 6:55 to slice three seconds off the time set by East Sutherland's Liam Barnsby in 2013 to take a new race record! Lawson’s Albyn team-mate Blair Blackwood was second in the 2.5k (7:28), while Struan Mackay (Hazlehead Academy) took third in 7:31.

Falkirk’s Emily Christie, who had been runner-up for each of the previous two years, secured top spot on the rostrum in the girls’ race, finishing two secs ahead of Rachel Fitzpatrick (Hazlehead Academy) in 8:12, while Eilidh Murdoch (Aboyne Academy) was third in 8:30.

It was a lively event with Robbie the RAM in attendance to pump up the crowds! Thanks again to Run Balmoral for a great day out.
