Donation of Player Appearances

We were delighted to be able to donate our Aberdeen Football Club player appearances to the Russell Anderson Foundation recently. As part of our sponsorship, we are able to arrange player appearances and were so glad we could donate this to such a worthy cause.

Established by the former Dons’ legend, the foundation’s main purpose is to support children in socially deprived areas of Aberdeen. Over the years it has gone on to deliver school sports coaching sessions, food and community support, age-specific health and wellbeing workshops, a Young Leaders programme to boost self-esteem and confidence, holiday camps and festivals, and an NHS-backed initiative providing classroom-based presentations and practical lessons, such as basic first aid and dental hygiene.

Ross Doohan and Nicky Devlin both went along to Woodside Primary School (Managing Director, Jim Stewart's former school!) for a Foundation-led after-school club, and were met by some starstruck youngsters! Our very own Neil Simpson, a Gothenburg Great, was also there to support and had a great day out.

We look forward to working in conjunction with AFC and the Russell Anderson Foundation again soon!
