The main office is based at Birchwood and this allows good lines of communication between the Recycling Yard and the administration staff when dealing with your disposals.
The yard facility has a 50 tonne weighbridge where all material is weighed on arrival and again on disposal. This method of stock control is vitally important in meeting Duty of Care and environmental regulations.
The site extends to 2 acres and has a complete concrete area fully drained with modern interceptor tanks to allow storage of scrap material in a safe manner.
Pipe Storage
The site also has pipe storage which is run under API regulations. On site we have a very strict HSE and all risk assessments and duty of care is carried out to ensure full compliance at all times.
Our equipment on site includes various forklifts with attachments for pipe handling, rotator for emptying offshore skips and a general 7tonne forklift for general duties.
Scrap Rehandling
Also on site we have a scrap rehandling machine with grab and magnet attachment to deal with all scrap deliveries.
For inspection purposes we have our own LSA equipment which is used on all deliveries to ensure that no radioactive material is delivered to site.
Chrome or Nickel Alloys
For the nickel alloys we have fully trained operators with the most sophisticated and up-to-date equipment to identify any material that has any Chrome or Nickel Alloys present so we can recover and recycle for the best values.
We also have a full range of skips and forklift containers built to customers specifications for the collection of ferrous or nickel alloys.
Our vehicle fleet includes our own trucks:
7.5 tonne Flatbed for the collection and delivery of skips
16 tonne Skiptruck for the collection and delivery of skips
32 tonne Rollonoff for the collection and delivery of large skips (40 Cubic Yards)
